Our Mission
At Madamu Tiashōn Publishing, we are dedicated to transforming the landscape of romance literature by championing multicultural narratives that celebrate the diverse experiences of women of color. Our mission is two-fold: 1) to serve the needs of avid romance readers, history enthusiasts, and K-Drama fans, who are interested in AMBW relationships while providing a vibrant platform to share authentic stories where women of color are not just side characters but the central love interests—dynamic, complex, and deserving of their romantic journeys; 2) to explore the historical interactions (e.g., Africans in China, Japan, and Korea) through the creation of a mix of well-researched fiction. Above all, we aim to share our love for the Asian culture, recognizing the Kunlun people (昆仑人, Kūnlún rén), a term used in ancient and medieval Chinese texts to describe dark-skinned foreigners often associated with Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and Africa.
